Welcome to Mrs. Targac's 2nd Grade Class!

A Bit About Me

I was born and raised here in Flatonia. I attended K-12 at FISD and think it's neat that I am now teaching with some of the teachers who taught me! After graduation, I attended the best university of all---Texas A&M where I graduated in 2005! Gig'em Ags! 

I began my teaching career in Northside ISD where I taught Kinder and 1st grades for 6 years. Around that time, my husband, Matt, and I decided to make the move back "home". I taught 4th grade for one year at SISD, and then moved over to Flatonia. I have taught 4th grade here in Flatonia for 3 years and am excited to be teaching 2nd grade for the first time this year. 

My husband and I have 3 boys who keep us busy busy! Titan is a 3rd grader here at FISD, Boston is starting PK, and Stryker is nearly 2 months old. We love the small town life, but do enjoy visiting our friends in College Station and San Antonio. Our favorite thing to do in College Station is to eat at Layne's and attend an Aggie Baseball game!
