Welcome back to school! This is Mrs. Dunk's 2nd Grade homepage.  

I started teaching in Flatonia is 2002, and have been a 5th, 6th, ESL, and Library reading teacher and now am a second grade teacher!  I am so excited to go on this new journey in my teaching career, and look forward to being your child's teacher.

Our school day begins at 7:50 a.m. and school is dismissed at 3:30.

7:50-8:40 Character Education and Target Math

8:40-9:25 PE/Music/Art & Conference

9:25-10:15  Social Studies/Science

10:15-11:20  Math

11:20-12:00  Lunch & Recess

12:00-12:40  Journal & Daily Language

12:45-1:15  Phonics

1:15-2:10  Whole Group Instruction

2:10-2:45 Intervention

2:45-3:15 Daily 5/Small Groups

3:15-3:30 Homeroom Wrap-Up & Dismissal
